Parker, Colorado is one of the few places that is still close into Denver and the DTC that has true custom homes and custom home lots available. This is without having to drive 30 miles east of Denver and without living on the prairie all alone. Lots in The Timbers are generally a half acre. Some lots are one third of an acre and a few push 1 full acre. The Timbers is the best place to find custom homes and custom home lots in South Metro Denver.

The Timbers is located just 10 minutes to downtown Parker, Colorado, 20 minutes to the DTC , 40 -45 minutes door to door to DIA and Downtown Denver.
I regularly meet my wife in downtown Denver for lunch and it takes me 35 minutes to get downtown at lunchtime. (I live in The Timbers)
You have options when buying or building a custom home. Currently there are several spec homes being built that will be ready to move into for the summer of 2016. There are also “dirt start” options where you can choose the lot and design your house from the ground up.

Notice that many of the homes in the photos are ranch style main floor living homes. Some of the builders and home buyers call this “Affluent Downsizing.” You do not have to build a ranch style home on these lots. These are custom homes so you can build any home you desire so long as it fits within the Timbers building guidelines.
