It’s a nice crisp negative 14 degrees with a light breeze on this day before New Years Eve. We went up for a little snowshoeing but ended up heading back to the condo since the kids did tell us they were boycotting snowshoeing in that temp.
Another great snowshoeing spot for kids is across the street from the entrance to Ski Cooper. The 10th Mountain Division trained there for WWII. The trails across the street are relatively flat and easier for shot legs. The snow is very deep up there so there is plenty of fun!
