Purgatory Cellars was the first winery to open in Parker, Colorado. A native of Croatia, Marko Ćopić came to Colorado in 2014, bringing 20 years of “Old World” and Mediterranean style winemaking experience.
This winery makes and ages their wine in Amphora containers, an ancient method that dates back to 5,000 years ago. This ancient method is becoming increasingly popular among brewers and vintners worldwide, especially in Europe and the Middle East, because of the remarkable flavors this process produces.
Purgatory Cellar provides the Colorado wine scene with an entirely new wine tasting experience. Winery guests can enjoy tastings and tours of the facility from friendly staff. The Wine Barrel
