Market Thoughts Late 2024
- The election killed the market from July until 2-3 days after the election. Traffic across the board picked up within days of the election being completed.
- Traffic has remained strong since November and through the Holidays. I received three contracts on homes between Thanksgiving and Christmas. These are all headed to closing in mid-January.
- I had several sellers pull their homes from the market for the Holidays only to receive offers within days of pulling them off the open market.
- My open house traffic has been crazy busy. There is still a ton of pent-up buyer demand for our neighborhood.
- Buyers appear to be willing to move forward with offers in the hopes of refinancing in the future.
