High Prairie Farms is the first enclave of homes you pass on your left as you enter The Timbers off Parker Road. The entrance to High Prairie Farms is easily recognizable because the neighborhood is surrounded and outlined by miles of white fence. I was told that originally it was thought that homeowners would turn out their horses and ride their horses within the fenced area. I believe there are only a few homes within High Prairie Farms that are actually allowed to have horses now. Either way, the lots are prime and the views are perfect.

I have been very happy to see remodeling projects within High Prairie Farms. Many of the homes were built in the early to late 1990s and are in need of a remodel or updating. Homes here truly do have the total package. New homeowners who are fortunate enough to buy into High Prairie Farms should have solid upside potential of they upgrade and remodel these homes. I’m sure it is not cheap and nobody likes living in a home during a remodeling process but the end result and payoff down the road should be worth it.
