Farmers Market Parker, CO
The Taylor Produce Farmers Market in Parker CO is open for business for the 2013 season.
Taylor’s Produce is the stand that is open daily from 9am to 6pm and runs from May through August. Fresh veggies, fruits and homemade canned goods are typical. On my latest trip to the farmers market in Parker CO I saw honey from Larkspur, CO, Peaches and plums from Palisades, CO and tomatoes from Grand Junction, CO.
I just posted a little video below of what they had to sell earlier this week at the farmers market in Parker CO. Check it out.
To get to the farmers market in Parker CO.
It’s easy. Take Parker road to Mainstreet in Parker and head east. It’s right in the center of town on the north side of Mainstreet.
On Sundays there are market days in Parker and they have multiple vendors selling all types of produce and goods. We are writing an article about that now and will post a link to it here when we have it ready.
They try their best to support local farmers and buy the best Colorado grown products around. The tomatoes taste 100 times better than store bought and the honey is to die for. I guess the bees are in Larkspur and the owner of the bee farm is in Colorado Springs. Anyway, it’s good.
I brought home a bag of plums yesterday and between the kids and I there are only two left. I would much rather have my kids snacking on these this summer than the gold fish and other crap they tend to eat.
If you’re looking for fun things to do in Parker CO then maybe a trip to the local farmers market might be a fun outing. O’Brien Park is right next door so maybe the kids can get a little play time in the park before or after a fruit and veggie shopping spree.
