Looking for fun things to do in Parker, Colorado?

Last weekend my wife and another couple went out for dinner to Linger overlooking downtown Denver. (I highly recommend Linger as a great restaurant in Denver.) After dinner and some ice cream, in chilly 30 degree weather, we headed back to Parker looking for more action. It was only 8:00 and the kids were probably not even asleep yet so no need to go home after a great dinner and do mom and dad stuff.

We decided to head to Vines in Parker and have some more fun for the evening. My wife and her friends have been here many times but it was my first outing to Vines in Parker. We walked in the door and immediatly knew several people hanging out and fell right into a fun evening.

They have hundreds of wines and the food selection is great. You can order a steak or appetizers or Tapas as they call them. Isn’t Tapas just a fancy word for apps? Anyway the food, wine and atmosphere was great. They have a cool fireplace which is right on target for winter wine consumption. In the Summer they have an outdoor patio and Colorado is a great place to sit outside in the Summer.

I highly recommend Vines as a relaxed place to hangout, drink wine and meet up and have fun with your neighbors and friends.
